Follow the road to the Right of Captain Lungeau until you reach Gentil Forest. Once you arrive, speak with Randalam who will teach you about Transport Crystals or <T-Crystals>.


Continue down the road, defeat 4 monsters, and activate the crystal. <Mitchet> will send you ahead to learn from the skill teacher and teach you how to chat.


<Chatting>


To chat, press the Enter key to open the chat bar in the lower left corner of the game screen. Type a message and then press Enter again to send the message.

Continue down the path to activate the T-Crystal and go to the next area.



Speak with <Thoric> who will teach you how to level up your skills.



<Learning/Leveling up skills>
Click the <Skills> button on the lower right of the screen or press <K> on your keyboard to open your skill book. The skill window will open up on the upper right.
Click on the "Get" or "Level Up" buttons next to the skill you want to acquire/level up.
A confirmation window will appear, click “OK” to continue.

IMPORTANT: To use a skill, either double click an acquired skill in your skill book or drag and drop the skill icon to your skill hotbar. You can select skills in the skill hotbar using the mouse wheel or number keys on your keyboard.


<Equipping>
Open the inventory with hotkey <I> or click the Items <I> button in the lower right corner. The <item window> will open on the upper right. Double Click on the item you want to equip.
Continue down the path and try your newfound skills.

You will meet <Vanilla>, who will need help.


Defeat the monsters and she will teach you how to use consumable items. Open the <Inventory> and use the <Regenerate> item by double clicking it.

Continue down the path and defeat 4 Baron Orcs to activate the <Transport Crystal>.


Take the <T-Crystal>. Speak with Lateshia down the path, she will take your <Red Letter>.


Next, you will speak with Lateshia's assistants. Speak with Vanilla who will teach you more about skills and then give you a quiz. She will explain the importance of matching skills with weapons, and how to use the <Jar of Oblivion> to reset skills.

Speak with Lateshia again and tell her you are ready for your skill test.

To learn more about skills, you can continue to ask Lateshia. She will explain the Skills, based on the weapon/progression system and how to specialize. You can then either keep your current character or <Change Class> to try a different class; <Reset Skills> to reallocate skill points, or if you are finished, <Report to the Captain> to continue.
