Go to Guerra Canyon after speaking to
<Captain Lungeau>.
Badland will greet you and take your
<Yellow Letter>. Help defend the battle lines by selecting <Start Mission> when you are ready.
Select one of the following missions:
<Rank 1> The Battlefield Tower
<Rank 2> The Knight and the Giants
<Rank 2> Attack Enemy Defenses
<Rank 3> The Flying Summon
<Rank 1> The Battlefield Tower
Build an obelisk and destroy the base before the enemies arrive.
<Obelisks>
Obelisks are used to expand your country's territory. The amount of territory you occupy during a war is used to calculate the amount of territory damage you deal during the war (Territory damage is the largest source of damage against the enemy base). Expanding your territory also expands the area you are allowed to build in.
<Mining Crystals>
Approach a giant crystal on the world map and press C to crouch and begin mining crystals. After mining 10 crystals, you can ask the soldier mining next to you for more crystals.
<Accepting Trades>
Click on the soldier mining next to you to initiate a trade request. The trade request icon will be displayed on the lower right of the screen.
Click on the icon or press the
<T> key to open the trade window.
Click on the <Accept> button after you have selected what you would like to trade (there is no need to trade anything for the tutorial), and then click <Confirm> to finalize the trade.
You will receive 5 more crystals.
<Building an Obelisk>
Press the Z key or click the mouse wheel to open the target menu. Click
<Build>. In the build window, click on the <Obelisk> icon. If the obelisk in front of you is red, you cannot build on that spot. Move to a suitable location and click the mouse.
Build the obelisk and once it is complete, you will control the area.
<Checking Enemy Base Damage>
The orange gauge on the top of the screen shows the HP of the enemy base
You can see it gradually go down
<Checking Territory>
The bright areas of the mini-map on the upper-left corner show the territory you control
Continue building obelisks to defeat the enemy. You can speak to soldiers at different crystal nodes to get more crystals to build the obelisks needed.
Once you have built enough you will win the battle and
<Commander> will reward you. Make sure you have inventory space for 5 items!
<Rank 2> The Knight and the Giants
Summon a Knight and defeat the Giants attacking.
<SUMMONS>
Become a summon to assume a new form, increase HP, and use new skills--when summoning, you become the summon. Summon skills and HP are the same regardless of level making them an easy way for beginners to contribute to the battle.
Each summon has its own strengths and weaknesses. Knights are speeds and powrful against summons, but weak when attacking soldiers and buildings. Giants are slow and ineffective againsts soldiers--usually requiring an escort by knight--but have an extremely powerful, extremely long-distance anti-building attack. Wraiths are great at attacking and confusing soldiers, however this makes unprotected wraiths the perfect target for enemy knights.
After collecting enough crystals, you can summon a Knight.
<Summoning a Knight>
Target your country's base and press the
<Z> key or click the mouse wheel to open the Target Menu. Click on
<Summons> and then click the
<Summon> button under
<Knight>.
<Knight Skills>
<Skill 1: Divine Piercing>
A close-range attack that's hard to counter
<Skill 2: Divine Thrust>
A powerful attack with a large-effective range
After defeating the Giants…
<Rank 3> Attack Enemy Defenses
Use the
<Giant> summon to attack the enemies defenses. Giants have powerful attacks against buildings and structures.
<Building a War Workshop>
Press the Z key or click the mouse wheel to open the target menu.
Click on <Build>. Click on the
<War Workshop> icon in the build window. Move the workshop model to a suitable place and click to place it.
<Giant Skills>
<Skill 1: Strong Cannon>
Long range attack that is strong against buildings.
<Skill 2: Big Step>
Close range attack against enemies.
After placing the
<War Workshop> you can collect crystals to summon a Giant. Once you have enough go to the <War Workshop> for the <Giant> summon. Destroy the designated buildings marked as orange structures on the minimap to complete the mission.
<Rank 4> The Flying Summon
You will need to summon a Dragon and attack the various structures and enemies to beat this level. Dragons are powerful, tide-turning summons that cannot be summoned normally. Instead, you must have the item <Dragon Soul> in your inventory and must be significantly losing a war. Meeting these requirements, you will randomly summon a dragon after dying on the battlefield.
<Dragons>
To Fly, press the
<Space bar> to take off and soar through the air. Turn the camera to the direction you want to fly. Press the
<W> key to fly forward.
<Skill 1: Fireball>
Launches a fireball that explodes on contact. (Trust us, that's all you'll need.)
Destroy all of the orange structures around the Keep to complete the mission. Afterwards, speak with the commander and go see
<Captain Lungeau> to complete the tutorial!
<Go to the Capital> to complete your training.
Congratulations, you're ready for war!
