STEP 1. Click on the <Download> button to go to the download page. Follow the instructions on this page to download the light-weight Fantasy Earth Zero download client.

STEP 2. Once the download has completed, click on <Run>. If you have closed the download window, you can double-click on the Fantasy Earth Zero downloader icon in the location you saved the file.

STEP 3. The Fantasy Earth Zero downloader will open. Select the install location for Fantasy Earth Zero, then push <Next> to begin downloading the game from our high-speed p2p network. When the download completes, the downloader will automatically launch the Fantasy Earth Zero installer and begin extracting the files it needs to install.

STEP 4. The Gamepot EULA window will pop up. Click on <Yes [Y]> to agree to the EULA.

STEP 5. Confirm the folder destination where Fantasy Earth Zero will be installed. Click on <Next> to start the installation.

STEP 6. Once the installation is complete, click <Finish> to close the window.

Fantasy Earth Zero is now installed!

STEP 1 - LAUNCH THE GAME CLIENT. Double click on the Fantasy Earth Zero icon on your desktop to launch the game. This will bring up the login screen.

You'll need a Gamepot Passport ID and password to play Fantasy Earth Zero. If you do not have one you will need to register on the Fantasy Earth Zero website.

STEP 2 - LOG IN. Log in to Fantasy Earth Zero by entering your Gamepot Passport ID and password and clicking the <Login> button.

STEP 3 - CREATE A CHARACTER. If this is your first time playing Fantasy Earth Zero, you'll be asked to create a character. Select a character model and a name for your soldier, which will represent you in combat. Then click the <Next> button. Once you've created a character, you'll skip this step when starting a game.

STEP 4 - SELECT THE WORLD YOU WANT TO JOIN. The game client will display a menu with all available worlds for you to join. Once you have selected a world, push to continue to the next step. Note that you will be unable to play with players from other worlds and will be unable to change worlds after character creation. Be sure to choose the same world as any friends you would like to play with.

STEP 5 - SELECT HOME NATION. The game client will display a list of five nations for you to choose from. Be careful when choosing a nation as you will be unable to leave this nation after you join. Each nation has a different king, and you will be unable to fight along people from other nations if your nation is currently at war with the nation you wish to fight along with.

STEP 6 - BEGIN YOUR ADVENTURE.
