There are two ways to fight in a War.

1) Declare War - To declare war on another Kingdom's territory, your Kingdom must have control over the territory adjacent to it. You will also need 4 citizens of your nation to aid you in battle. Once you have both, you can build a Keep, and declare War.

Those who do not wish to join the battle have 60 seconds to leave the battlefield before they are transported out. After 60 seconds, any citizen of those two Kingdoms can join during the "Preparing for War" Period.

2) Join a Battle in Progress: You may join your country's forces in any field or join any third party country a) not fighting your own country and b) not acting as aggressors on another country's home continent. Participation is limited by the difference in number of soldiers participating in each side of the War and the total number of participants. Finally, a maximum number of 50 players can participate on each side.

Each War lasts for 45 minutes or until either the Castle or Keep is destroyed.
